Studio Manager // Teacher
Christina was introduced to yoga in a San Francisco college improv acting class where the teacher would fold yoga poses and breathing practice into the warm-up routine. After getting that little bit of yoga in the mornings, Christina sought out more yoga classes and found a studio that was offering classes to college students. She began taking as many classes as she could and the studio owner offered her a work/study agreement- she would clean the studios in exchange for free classes. It wasn't too long before Christina decided she wanted to not only be a student of yoga but also teach so she pursued her teacher certification while apprenticing an Iyengar teacher in San Diego.Christina finally got to teach a class of her own after moving to Austin in 2009. Christina strives to offer a nurturing, holistic practice to her students in a fun, welcoming environment. When not teaching yoga, Christina enjoys illustrating children's books and spending time with her husband and two kids.
