Kay began her yoga journey at the age of sixteen as a way to deal with anxiety and depression. Her practice came and went over the next few years but pivotally deepened when she became pregnant, transforming her practice and deepening her understanding of the human body as a beautifully complex system. Seeing the body not just a physical being but an emotional, spiritual, and mental.

She wants to share her love and passion of yoga to help people create space within themselves where they were once blocked off. To open their awareness of their own body and truly connect with their inner-self in a safe and nurturing environment. Living with a chronic disease has also intensified her love, gratitude, and appreciation for yoga by giving her tools to help manage and understand the multi-dimensional body we have all been gifted.

Kay is a recent graduate of Trybe Yoga’s Teacher Training Program and received her 200Hr RYT certificate, planning on continuing her training to complete her 500Hr RYT throughout the next few years.Outside of the studio, Kay is an avid runner competing in races throughout the state, both trail and road races. Her life revolves around her family and her daughter is one of her greatest inspirations, showing her the beauty of life and unconditional love.
