Malia began her yoga journey in her teens as a way to cope with anxiety. Since then, she has discovered the transformational, healing power of yoga and is now committed to helping others heal, both physically and emotionally, by sharing her love of the practice.
She completed her 200-hour certification with Nadi Yogi. Since then, she has completed trainings in Anatomy & Sequencing for Injury Prevention, The Art of Holding Space, Yoga Anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff, and Yoga is My Health Insurance with Lilith Bailey-Kroll.
Malia has a passion for working with people who are experiencing physical limitation or pain, and those struggling with anxiety and stress. You can expect her classes to focus both on alignment and deep relaxation.
When not teaching, Malia enjoys writing, dancing, and hanging out with her miniature schnauzer, Greg.
